The online application is available at apply.wisconsin.edu on Aug. 1 for the following fall semester. Applications may be submitted beginning on Sept. 1. Review of applications begins on Sept. 15. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis, and applications are processed as long as space is available or until enrollment goals have been met. To request a waiver of the application fee for students with financial hardship, please complete the Application Fee Waiver form.
If we have requested letters of recommendation from English, mathematics or science teachers, the UW System Recommendation for Undergraduate Admission Form may be used.
Residency for Tuition Purposes
Upon admission to UW-Platteville, a student is classified as either a resident of Wisconsin for tuition purposes or as a nonresident, based on the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes 36.27(2) and the information supplied on the application. Learn more about Residency for Tuition Purposes.
