Kurzweil 3000 is an assistive technology, text to speech, learning tool that supports the concept of 'Universal Design for Learning' with a suite of powerful reading, writing, test-taking, and study skill tools that makes curriculum accessible to all students. Literacy support can be provided to students anytime, anywhere - on their PC, MAC, iPad, and on the web. Built-in tools for reading, writing, study skills and test taking deliver a multisensory approach to learning, helping students who struggle become independent learners. How Do I Start Using Kurzweil?
Kurzweil 3000 and firefly are available to any current UW-Platteville student. To begin, click on the link below to request a Kurzweil Student Account. An email will then be sent to your UWP email account with a username, password, and instructions.
