University of Wisconsin-Platteville Chancellor Dennis J. Shields announced the restructured leadership team today and the decision reflects strong alignment with the mission and vision of the university.
The four teams, effective July 1, 2016, and their vice chancellors, are as follows:
• Provost and Academic Affairs led by Liz Throop
• Enrollment and Student Success led by Angela Udelhofen
• Administrative Services led by Rob Cramer
• University Relations led by Rose Smyrski
“The four teams are aligned to continue our commitment to student success, invest in our strengths, and serve our students and employees,” said Chancellor Shields. "Structurally, we are positioning for more cross team collaboration and providing a pathway forward to better control our own destiny.”
Diversity and inclusion continue to be paramount to this university, therefore, Angela Miller will assume the position of Chief Diversity Officer and will continue to have oversight on the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs.
The current areas of Student Affairs, Enrollment Management and other retention focused departments will be combined to form Enrollment Management and Student Success."
