Focus 2 Career Planning
How do I begin the major and career exploration process?
What can I do with a major in …?
How can I prepare for my future career?
What is the job outlook for my career field?
The Career and Professional Development Office is now using FOCUS 2 as a career and education planning tool. FOCUS 2 is a self-paced career guidance tool designed to help you select the right major, clarify your goals, and provide you with important information regarding occupations. FOCUS 2 assists you with making informed decisions about what major is the best fit for you at UW-Platteville. It is free of charge to UW-Platteville students.
Exploring majors and careers is an exciting step in your college career! The CPDO staff is available for career exploration meetings to help guide you through the process. If you need assistance understanding your results from FOCUS 2 or with planning next steps, you can meet with a CPDO peer educator on a walk-in basis Monday-Friday from 3-4 p.m. in 0200 Ullsvik Hall or make an appointment with a Career and Professional Development Specialist by calling 608.342.1183. You also can pick up a Focus 2 Career & Education Planning Workbook at the CPDO front desk for further exploration.
