Push-ups for PTSD
Push-ups for PTSD is an event to raise awareness about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and how deadly it has been for our veterans of our nation. The 22 push-ups are for the 22 veterans a day who attempt or commit suicide due to untreated PTSD. This event is to give students information about PTSD while asking them to take the challenge of 22 push-ups a day to feel just how big the number 22 really is and to do one push-up for each veteran soldier. Awareness bracelets will been given out at this event for completing 22 push-ups.
